Discover the Catholic Faith Adult Christian Initiation
If you are new to the Catholic faith, or if you have been away from the Catholic faith and would like to rediscover the faith, we are here to support you.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the formal process for adults who are seeking to be baptised. Once accepted as a candidate for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist), the adult candidates, who are now called catechumens, meet with the parish sacramental co-ordinator. There is no set program as the formation depends on the background of each catechumen. The period of formation usually lasts several months.
